Nobody is truly original. That is okay. After all, we are genetic copies of others inheriting habits and learning our environment. It also makes me conscious — am I subconsciously copying something else I was taught to be unoriginal? Yes. Even if it was teaching myself.
However, there is a blatant repetition in content I am seeing across all channels and routinely mimicked in reality. I can see all the variables laying out on how someone can repeat the same content thinking they are original. It is a bit of both originality and trend. A chicken or the egg situation.

Sometimes there will be a trend that is blowing up that all these influencers hop on, because everyone is always talking about it. This way their views are boosted, and they can capitalise on those eyes. They share their version of the story with experiencing a certain product.
Other times, I think bloggers who are in a certain space that might be similar is looking for content that would potentially work for them also. This is unoriginal to me, and can boring and monotonous. It is similar to hearing a piece of news from a handful of people in the same group of friends.
The final factor I am considering is that a company could be reaching out to all of these bloggers in order to get the word out.
All of these versions of events are the gum on the sidewalk I like to step over. Not because I am better than anyone or think I am original. Simply because I do not appreciate being told what to sell or giving something more attention than needed.
It would be mirroring those ironic individuals who complain about the Kardashians being relevant when they are the reason they are still in the media. There are still trolls out there who visit their page for spite or find a reason to not like them. At the end of the day, they are still mentioning their empire keeping them alive.
Personally, I have nothing against the Kardashians. The day Kris Jenner comes out with another book — but strictly about business — I am preordering it as soon as possible. In the art world, we call it the Koontz effect.
When first starting out my blog and YouTube channel, I was thinking about not only posting what I wanted, but ways to stay indexed on SEO. Now, I share what people ask me that fits my modus operandi and genuine posts I feel strongly about.
Since my interests vary widely, I think I am going to post a little bit every day about different subjects, because when I go deep into a particular topic, it falls on deaf ears. For some reason, people are just not that intrigued. It does not stop me, but I found ways to make it a little more attractive, and add these in anyway.
There are so many brands influencers push that repel me the other way. All because they know they can get paid by them, affiliate or direct ambassadorship. However, I am finding that suggesting what sincerely works without a no fluff opinion is much more appreciated.
This is how things should be. But status and hierarchical affiliation with certain brands and people will always pave the way for more unwanted trends that do not stand the test of time.
I will keep gliding along and moving forward, because I feel like I cannot relate to a lot of people online. There are a handful of cowboys and billionaire-wife socialites I pay attention to, yet find myself somewhere oddly in between haha. Wholesome luxury in two words.
If you do not want any false reviews or unnecessary frills, I highly suggest following my channel and staying updated to this blog.
Thank you so much for taking time to read the end of this post. I hope you find some inspiration in this and feel free to share with your friends as a free way to help my blog grow. Your support is endlessly appreciated.
