We moved in today! Met our landlord’s parents. They were kind and let us in with some paperwork. Andrew did most of the unloading making me organise everything indoors. It was cold when I would step out, but I wanted things to go faster even with the smallest of bags I could carry. It was tough limping around.

Cashmere was playing so excitedly bouncing around the whole building like a pinball. Finally free from the carrier. The stairs here are steep but feel safe. Everything is built beautifully, new and the downstairs of the house is being renovated. Nobody is downstairs and it would be ideal for a treadmill.

For now, we are a bit loud unpacking. I felt awful from all the banging noises we made. Also, I worried about scratching everything. The paint is new, appliances are gorgeous, and everything here is high quality. I cannot wait to get my teeth into this state — the horse capital of the world. There is so much new to start!

We watch Frasier, ate a whole pizza, and got a bit organised. I am consistently breaking out from junk food, dairy, and sugar. Furthermore, I cannot wait to get our new bed, linens, and to wash my clothes. We return the truck Friday, but Andrew is having a tough time getting the Tesla off the trailer’s chain. It locked in somehow. We unload and get all the basic errands done tomorrow. Then we move on to administration for officially moving!
It also feels great to not wear makeup daily and only have earrings on. I feel beautiful. Especially in this cold weather. It feels right. Minimal glam. In every sense of the word with makeup, hair, clothes, furniture, food, digital devices, lifestyle.
