This all-silk outfit by two of my favourite American sustainable brands

I can’t get enough of these two brands as of late. The top and skirt are both 100% silk, drape beautifully on my body, and are so insanely comfortable. It was almost 90 degrees today here in the Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, and I did not sweat once indoors without the air conditioning on.

These breathable pieces are staples of my new capsule — and what I especially like to call — forever wardrobe. I will wear these into the ground. Today, I danced, cooked, did laundry, held the cat, did tons of administrative work for my business, and hugged my loved ones without having to adjust my ensemble.

It has been a while since I felt this beautiful and in such a timeless outfit that follows my body rather than my figure having to conform to a tough piece of stiff fast fashion polyester. Thanks to M. M. La Fleur and Quince for taking out the middle man with exorbitant costs for everyday luxury. Silk is the material my whole wardrobe is made of. Silk is what I live my life in.
