I was taking my sweet time when making this purchase – as I always do – formulating outfit ideas, checking if it matches everything in my personal inventory, and how often I will practically utilise this design. I do not bend my standards when it comes to shopping and the main constituents of my signature style includes:

This bag was a no-brainer at the end of the day. It is lilac – made of red and blue – so it literally looks good on every skin tone. Whether you are warm, cool or neutral tone. I am neutral. It also matches all the ensembles I could possibly think of day to night. This is why sticking to a base palette is so imperative when it comes to shopping for your staples. It matches everything and you do not have to think when you are in a rush or need to get ready with ease.

It is also a simple enough silhouette to be as casual or dressed up as my outfit is. If there was an issue, that is not a big deal to me, it is that the zipper can be hard to close sometimes. Not because it is cheap. It has an incredibly smooth zip with sturdy alloy hardware. The bag has a zip that cannot be changed unless you reconstruct the bag entirely. The tendency of the zipper is to go all the way to the end of the bag and sort of hide in the nape of the strap. 

Another thing to note is the crossbody strap extension is limited in sizing. This is only an issue for a petite person who plans on using this as a crossbody. My problem with crossbody bags is they are too low on the body and make my outfit appear disproportionate. It is definitely meant for most people who are even of the slightest height above my 5’2.5” stature. 

I do not like crossbody in general because of this. Specifically this reason. Otherwise, I have nothing to pick apart with this design. In addition, I rarely use it as a crossbody, but when I do use it with the extended strap, I keep it inside the bag rolled up and have no choice but to use it when I really need to be hands free.

The colour is stunning. I love this hue, because not a lot of people have it as their immediate go-to for dressing. Everyone is so boring wearing black all the time. And people who do not know how to wear colour wear red. Yawn.

The easiest way to mix up your wardrobe and rejuvenate winter style when you get bored of monotonous graments is simply by playing with the colour. Have a sense of a Uniform. Quality is this bag’s middle name, because it is exceptional. The only thing is it has a lack of a spartan lining with the leather material of the bag’s exterior. Simply be careful to make sure your pens are capped and so are your pigmented cosmetics! I prefer to use a little duster bag for each item including my keys to not scratch other items in my bag as a rule of thumb and easy organisation. I accidentally scratched this bag with my nails in an exceedingly harsh display, and there were absolutely zero marks. I highly recommend you get this bag in your favourite colour.
