Since I am purchasing a farm and a forest and looking at properties (you will see in one of my upcoming vlogs), I wanted to share with you something that will aid me in my future plans. I was looking for a high quality genuine leather bag that can help me harvest in style that was countryside chic.

Latico Leathers is a wonderful American brand that found me. You lovely readers who have been following for a bit know that I am enamored with U.S. brands, because during the panini we could not export or import products, so supporting national family owned businesses is terribly important to me.
Typically, I do not use crossbodies, but need something versatile to be hands-free and can be turned around when walking through wilderness grounds. I styled it up, because it can make a casual outfit look really casual. I do not really own casual clothes. I own work clothes, but this is not my work bag. It is my perfect get-around hands-free bag.
Here is how I styled the Milly crossbody. I cut off the excess strap and will burn them with careful pyrography to seal the loose ends. It has to be adjusted perfectly to my height at 5’2.5”. This is perfect for bending over without the bag grazing the ground.
They have have been based out of New Jersey since it was founded in 1984. Each bag is handcrafted with love by artisans in South America & India – not in China where the Uyghurs are in death and slave camps. The bags are sustainable. Pretty much everything I own is sustainable, considering I am purchasing a farm to use every bit up with zero waste.
I have not felt leather like this in a long time since working on violins. We had to lie string instruments down on insanely soft leather surfaces versus tables to keep them in pristine condition. This bag is softer than that!
Some things about Latico Leathers
• Family-run and operated leather brand since 1984.
• Over thirty-thousand five-star reviews
• Won the 2020 Carlos Falchi Independent Handbag Designer Award
• Donated over one hundred thousand meals to Feeding America. They donate ten meals for every purchase!
• Their unique, buttery-soft handmade pieces quickly caught the attention of bands like The Grateful Dead, which led to being gifted at the Emmy’s and Grammy’s in addition to many movies and TV shows.
In my twenty eight years on this earth, I have noticed that leather is one of the most beautiful products that not only lasts, but looks better with time. It truly is one of those rarities to be appreciated as decades move with the light. There are only a handful of materials promulgating such passage of age – fermented anything, solid wood, oil paintings, and trees to name a few.

Milly is a design that comes in multiple hues of neutrals, but I always love colour to brighten up my wardrobe. If you have been following me for a while now, you know that light pastels are my neutrals. The weave is very Italian-inspired and all over Milan fashion week. I personally find it to be charmingly Old World.
The straps are adjustable and I sized them up to be a perfect fit to sling around, yet also not encumber me when off for a jaunt. I need to practice pyrography to really seal the ends of the strap to keep them in place. At the end of a long day, they are practical, a mood boosting dopamine enhancer, and a quality lifetime staple.
