This first cashmere sweater I am currently wearing is in light sage. I’ve been enamored with green lately. I even have a couple green cashmere sweaters for you in this haul. One is this crewneck I’m wearing and the other is a cropped cardigan. Stick around for that as it is coming later. For your warm tones and deep winters – I am a deep winter – this will make your hair colour and eyes really stand out.

Also, cashmere is anti bacterial meaning it prevents the spread of germs. It matches all items in my closet. If you have a lot of nudes, neutrals, blushes, cool blues and even edgy silvers and blacks, this goes with absolutely everything. I also love the way pastels look on deep skin, because it makes your features stand out brilliantly.
This colour and design is really easy to style, because it fits with your everyday wardrobe. It’s easy to dress up and down. When I’m being casual, I wear this with my white jeans in a straight cut and some utilitarian boots. When I want to dress smart, I put on some white suit trousers and a blazer. If I’m going out to run errands, I simply slip on a pleated mini skirt and some flats.
Next is this blue cashmere crewneck. It’s the same design, but different hue. The colour is not the same as the picture when I saw it online. I’ll have an image here for you to compare. This sweater is in Larkspur Blue, and I’m keeping it because this is a style I literally wear daily. You can match this with black, grey, silver, white, blushes, taupes, and browns. This video is literally just me naming colours haha.

In addition, this is something I have been wearing everyday for five days a week in my wardrobe. All of these cashmere crewnecks are my response to the shirt or layered with a shirt. Subscribe and click the bell, because I have a video on how to layer these cashmere crewneck babies for the colder climates to stay chic and warm.
How do I wear this five days a week without it stinking? First off, I hand wash all my cashmere. I have a video linked below on how to hand wash your cashmere gently. You can watch that after this or save the video to your watch later list. I also wear underwear underneath, whether it’s a camisole or any type of t-shirt. T-shirts are underwear. Never wear them out in public. At the end of the day, I’m still an etiquette consultant, who helps people present themselves elegantly. You can check out dress code etiquette linked below. It also helps to keep warm when I layer, and I get more use out of this cashmere sweater I absolutely love.
This next sweater also looked different in the photo on jcrew.com. I thought it was going to be more periwinkle. The hue is called Pale Seascape and it looks more sky blue more than anything. It does remind me of painter’s blue in person when painting the sea, but it’s not periwinkle like the picture. I was really excited that it was going to be periwinkle in person, because it’s my favourite colour, but it’s still cute nonetheless. I’m keeping it, and can’t wait to style it.
Next is my collection of creamy cashmere crewneck sweaters. They’re in the colour Heather Natural. Why do I have so many of these? My whole capsule wardrobe is white. It’s the main statement of all my garments, so when I wear colour, it matches everything! Shopping and dressing up is easier this way. I only own one black silk dress from Lilysilk one black jacket from Givenchy.

Since I wear these every single day, I have a strong persona people remember me for, and my signature style is all about keeping things looking fresh and clean. I have to really stay on top of maintaining such a light shade, so it keeps me on top of taking care of my clothes, and doing things right away. Say you need to wash out an oil stain or wine stain, the faster you do it, the better chances you have of saving that garment.
Next is this Rosewood colour that J. Crew does not have anymore. They used to carry tons of other colours, but then as the season returns, they replenish their inventory of multiple gradients. Now there are colours I have not seen before, including a lot of these blues I just purchased and you saw earlier.
There are similar colours to this though, such as Heather Camel and Heather Blossom. I had to throw away one of these, because a moth ate them, and I got some lavender sachés and cedar blocks from Amazon. Cashmere is also known to pill quickly, where you will see these baubles pop up from when your arms rub. Have no fear.

I use this de-piller less than $10 on Amazon. You can also use a razor to shave them off. I personally don’t trust myself, because I’m not an expert at shaving my clothes manually, and don’t want to shave off too much. I use this electric de-piller and empty it out instead. I’ll have it all linked below.
Next are my cashmere cropped cardigans. I have been using these for years now. J. Crew is actually where I purchased my first cashmere sweaters, because they had this huge deal of cashmere being $80. With inflation, it’s currently $118-128. Which still isn’t too bad considering there are brands out there that sell cashmere that is super plain for $600. This already is super luxurious.

I noticed the cashmere cropped cardigans feel much softer than the crewnecks, while the crewnecks have a tendency to be a tad itchier. Remember that when cashmere is blended with wool, it is even itchier. These are all 100% cashmere. It’s also sustainable, because it’s healthy to shave the goats. If they are not sheared, they get really sick and develop diseases, so wear cashmere.
These cropped cardigans are also insanely breathable. I was wearing this to a BBQ over a yellow bandeau a-line dress, and didn’t sweat. It will be 90 degrees Fahrenheit or about 4- degrees centigrade, and I am sitting inside without the air conditioning on, and I’m perfectly fine. It moderates your temperature, because that is the magic of natural fibers!
Furthermore, these are really flattering, because they don’t sit on top of your body like polyester plastics do. You wash them once, you don’t recognise them, and they’re super stiff. These conform to your body, and I look even more in shape with these cardigans on than any other material I’ve worn, and the other half of my closet is entirely silk.
Let me know what you think of the styles, colours, and brand in the comments below. I love supporting American brands with timeless style that last through the seasons and lifetimes. I have been buying J. Crew cashmere sweaters for years, and can tell you I will not stop. Give this a like so more people can find this, because ugly clothes are a global issue. Thank you so much for watching, subscribe & click the bell for more elegant living, and I’ll see you later!
