I want to fix up this house and fast as possible to start my life living in it. Start our lives. The reason I want to get it renovated so quickly is because having a new family has to be a safe place without nails sticking out of the floors as they are currently, and making the space our own. 

Every day it feels a little bit closer to being ours, but it still has quite the distance to feeling like the sanctuary we wanted. The more time we spend in it does not expedite the process. It actually feels quite slow. 

I am learning about someone else’s past life considering how old this house is. All the memories of another family will be evolved into a new generation’s upbringing. We are stewards of this structure. 
When we build our other house from scratch on this land neighbouring this little edifice, then we can call ourselves true homeowners. Even if we do own this property, it does not feel like it will ever be entirely so.

There are so many big projects this place can be taken, but we can only do so much at a time considering that Mr. Dixon cannot take time off work, I am in search of a new car, and just interviewed at a business that will set the stage for the rest of our lives.

If I am considered for the position, the bifurcation in the road will disappear and life as we know it will flip upside down. Everything we know now will not be like ever before. Our whole lives will change. Why? I will share that in a future post and vlog. But for now, I am confident that this new role will be mine. If I am considered for the job — it will be a career. 

Will I still teach etiquette? Of course. This just helps me set up for retirement faster, build myself as even more established in another set of skills, and meet a whole community of people I know I am going to adore. 

I cannot wait to host events with tons of food and good times with these individuals. Getting to know them over time is much easier when you have such a loving landing space to call home and can host everyone. Every room will not only be full of love, but will contain many memories. I want to start making them as soon as possible. 

The company already checked my references. Wish me luck!
