How To Be & Remain An Unbothered Queen

Someone was really trying hard to put me down recently to the point that it was so ridiculous that I laughed. Other people’s opinions don’t write you checks. The thing was I didn’t like it, because it was such a salty, sour feeling that someone was trying to poison my day with.

And there were people around me saying it’s something absolutely untrue what they said, that it shouldn’t bother me. It didn’t. It just ruined my dinner.

I had to pull out my inner Kourtney Kardashian and just go with the flow of Season 1-2 Scott in Keeping Up With The Kardashians. She wouldn’t swerve the issue but would walk away from stupidity and just not put up with it.

When someone is trying to catch up to you as you walk away saying, “Wait, stay here and take this extra criticism I want to give you and still talk to you some more about what I don’t like about you,” you don’t give it life.

Keep breathing and walk away. It won’t kill you if you let it and your time is worth more than someone else putting you down. Swipe the carousel post below to learn exactly the things to ask to remain unbothered and laugh it off.

Have a balanced day! <– I think I want to make that my new catch phrase. What do you think? 🙂

What are some ways you handled a salty situation? I’d love to know your thoughts in the comments below!
