Here are all the things I do to cleanse my palette to feel beautiful and ready to take on the upcoming week. This was a fortuitous time to get this done, because it has been a long time coming. The holiday season is upon us, I cannot believe I am already wearing my cashmere sweaters, and pulling out the close-toed shoes. Specifically these boots.

Watch the full video to get all my beauty secrets that your mother did not teach you. It is pretty interesting how subtle we look at these things, and they are not the first things you might think of. This post is sponsored by The Glam Shop. Taking care of my inside, outside, and home makes a sanctuary with the reset for the seasonal buzzing as I touch up wrapping presents and editing the last of my items I want to take with me for the great relocation across the country. I wish I could do this every single week, but unfortunately that is not something I can keep up with as of now.

One day, I will be wealthy enough that my time is freed up to do these things at the top of my to-do list. For now, I treasure these moments of primping, self care, and bits of heaven into my daily routine.

Lately, I feel like I have been neglecting my skin, my cat, and my office’s tidiness. Paying attention to my husband is wonderful, but my schedule has to revolve around his as much as possible. This is because he works the nine to five while I am the business owner who has a bit more freedom. The problem is I am more productive early in the morning. He wants to relax after the sun rises and get a slow start.

If I eat or even sit down to relax, I will not work for the rest of the day. It is exhausting when I want to spend time with my family and really get to serve them. How do I solve this? Get up with the sun or earlier. This is a life changer. The current issue with getting up so early is making noise to make a coffee, clean, and getting the common areas organised before everyone wakes up. It’s either wake up to a clean and neat home or me being in a bad mood, because I do not start the day off right not getting work done. Do not mess with my morning routine, and we will all have a good day in my house.

Here is a quick list of things at the top of my head to stay on top of feeling and looking polished:

  1. Clean up and do my nails
  2. Dye and trim my hair
  3. Meditate
  4. Serve my family with acts of kindness and making their lives easier
  5. Spend time with my family
  6. Work out
  7. Dress up
  8. Take care of my skin with a deep cleanse and mask
  9. Do my makeup
  10. Cooking and meal prepping as much whole foods as possible
  11. Deep cleaning my teeth
  12. Getting fresh air and sun
  13. Hanging out with my friendly, fuzzy cat

What are some things that make you feel beautiful? Do you add them to your daily routine or do them every now and again with the ultimate self care session? Let me know in the comments below, because I absolutely love hearing from you and could use some tips myself.
