Here are some things to remember when dealing with bouncers. Keep it simple and you will come off as elegant in this social interaction!

Bouncers should be treated with respect and not argued with; after all, it is in their power to throw you out of the club or refuse you entry if they take a dislike to you. Check the dress code of the club first to avoid disappointment on the night. If a bouncer refuses you entry for any reason, accept this and leave the queue without causing a scene. Only the brave attempt bribery.
