It can take anywhere from 18 to 254 days for a person to form a new habit and an average of 66 days for a new behavior to become automatic. In other words, if you want to set your expectations appropriately, the truth is that it will probably take you anywhere from two months to eight months to build a new behavior into your life — not 21 days, according to a study.

The thing is, improving your actions starts with the brain that sets off a chain of tasks to the rest of your body to do the things you want to do with a little rewiring!
