Staying in shape at home can be a challenge when you’re not even sure of where to start!
The trick is to just keep moving no matter what, get your heart rate going somehow, and make sure you do it with a prompt. You’ll need a little timer or alarm – this includes your puppy barking at you, the baby crying, or every time your partner passes the door.
Take anything as a sign to get up and moving. A little distraction and removing yourself from focus is required, but it helps to keep the brain and body constantly in motion!
Don’t forget, it doesn’t have to feel like a workout. Just keep moving, whether you turn on a couple songs for 10 minutes, throw in some weight training, or a quick Youtube cardio video.
